A sample i made in cubase. A man saying get me out heavily reverberated. W/ added feedback that i pitch shifted and reverberated. And lots of whispering voices in different pitches.

All my sounds were created for a motioncomic i created called: kay & gojiah. . . I did not create these from scratch, but instead, remixed stock sounds of different roars, growls, breathing, etc. And fiddled with their settings until i got a sound i felt satisfied with. I thought the best thing to do with them after the project was done is to share. So, no need to give me credit. A friend of mine let me record her and i edited her laugh for a school project. I used a yeti mic to record and audacity to edit.

A short clip i picture being used (in a film) the moment that an innocent person becomes aware that an 'evil' presence might be near them, and as the sound plays their eyes shoot hard left and the heart races.

Two-tone zombie moan. No effects used. The trick is to push the back of your tongue to the wall of your throat to get the whistle/strangled effect.

An ethereal growl.

Inspired by ben croshaw's point 'n' click horror adventure games, i decided i'd try and see if i can make my own creepy whispers using audacity. This is basically some whispered lines and some really low-volume screams superimposed on one another, with some of these lines reversed. I made this on march 2012 and was recorded on my netbook's slightly damaged built-in mic.

Multiple sfx blended together with a creepy demonic voice over for a Good Scare. Big thanks to Adam Webb from SoundBible.com for the sound donation, this audio is awesome!

Couldn't find what i wanted on here so i made something. Small little chuckle detuned and heavy reverb. Not over the top, not cheesy. Just a simply horror themed chuckle. Credit would be nice. I would love to see where this gets used. But not necessary.
